It's Been Awhile

I know it has been awhile since I have posted. I was having a little pity party for myself, feeling like this was an epic fail, because I only have 6 followers. But, hey that's 6 followers right? I just know it's kinda a slap in the face when your family members don't even follow. (except you Carrie-thanks) But, ya know, this isn't about how many people read this, it's about getting things out. There are a few blogs that I follow, and it seems all they do is giveaways now. And I have to say, I personally want more than that. I would like to someday do some giveaways, or product reviews. But I by no means want this blog to be just about that. How do you get to "know" the person whose blog it is? You don't. And I want a more personal blog.

I guess maybe that is why the only 6 followers bothered me. I want a blog, where I can write a post, and people can respond, and we can start a conversation. Or I can ask a question and have it answered. I want to get to know people this way. I want to learn from one another. So, I can't do that if I give up. And I have wanted this blog for far too long to give up.  So I am going to keep on writing, and hopefully somehow will get some more followers. And start some good conversations, and make some good online friends. I know my life is not the most exciting. I am a stay at home mom of 2, but I know there are a lot of sahm bloggers! We have to have something to talk about!  And I want to try and not make this always about the kids. That is hard, being as they are my life! Finding time to myself, is very hard, and happens very seldom. In fact right now they are here with me. Being occupied by one of Shane's favorite cartoons Team Umizoomi.

So, all that said, I am not a quitter. And will be back : ) Shaneyism Sundays, Wordless Wednesdays, and lots more posts in between! I am going to try and post at least 2 posts a week, plus those 2. Maybe more if I can. : )
